Before you start

Hello. This page explains what you agree to when you book a program on LIFED. We have written it in ordinary language, because a document you cannot understand is not a document you have really agreed to.

LIFED is operated by Holobiont Private Limited, CIN U86900KL2025PTC093335, registered at Room No. 432/10, Shoranur Govt. Press P.O, Kulappulli, Ottapalam, Palakkad – 679122, Kerala.

In this document, “we” and “LIFED” mean that company. “You” means you, the person booking or attending. We call you a seeker. We call the people and places who host programs Healthmates.

These Terms are a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. They apply from the moment you create an account or make a booking. If you do not agree with them, please do not book.

LIFED does not run the programs. Healthmates do. We find them, check them, help shape their programs and handle your booking and payment.

LIFED is not medical care. Programs are wellbeing experiences. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or cures anything.

Your wellbeing information stays yours. We never hand it to your employer, and we never hand it to another seeker.

Related policies

These Terms work alongside our Cancellation and Refund Policy , Privacy Policy and Participation Terms . Those documents form part of this agreement.

1

What LIFED is, and what it is not

1.1 We are a platform. LIFED is where you discover, book and attend real-world wellbeing programs: residential stays and session-based workshops across wellness, functional movement and recovery.

1.2 The Healthmate runs the program, not us. When you book, you are entering into two relationships at once. With LIFED, for finding the program, booking it and paying for it. With the Healthmate, for the program itself: the venue, sessions, food, accommodation and the people delivering it. The Healthmate's name and details are shown on every program page.

1.3 Every Healthmate is checked before they can list. We verify identity or business registration, relevant qualifications and licences, venue details where they host on site and, where applicable, insurance, food licensing and regulatory permits.

1.4 Every program is curated. Programs on LIFED are not simply relisted. Each is shaped together with the Healthmate and validated by our team against a standard before it goes live.

1.5 Checking is not a guarantee. Verification and curation lower risk. They do not make LIFED responsible for how a program is delivered on the day, and they do not mean we have inspected every corner of every venue every week.

1.6 LIFED is non-clinical. Programs are wellbeing experiences. They are not medical treatment, therapy, rehabilitation or a substitute for professional advice. Nothing on LIFED diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any medical or mental health condition.

1.7 LEWIS is optional. LEWIS is a reflection feature that helps you think about your wellbeing across nine areas and points toward programs that may suit you. It is not a test, diagnosis or health score, and it never clears you as fit to take part in anything.

1.8 Nobody can buy their way to the top. Program suggestions are based on fit. Healthmates cannot pay for placement or ranking.

1.9 Who can book. You must be 18 or older to hold an account and make a booking. A person under 18 may attend only if a parent or guardian books for them, gives consent and completes their health declaration. LEWIS is not available to anyone under 18.

2

Booking a program

2.1 How a booking works. You choose a program, choose your dates or slots, complete the health declaration and pay. We then send you a booking confirmation.

What counts as confirmed

Your booking exists only when you receive a booking confirmation from LIFED, by email and in your dashboard.

  • Reaching the payment page is not confirmation.
  • A “pending” or “processing” status is not confirmation.
  • A debit appearing in your bank is not confirmation.
  • A message from the Healthmate is not confirmation.

If you do not have a confirmation, you do not have a booking. Contact us and we will sort it out.

2.3 Availability. Availability shown on LIFED is real time and is maintained by the Healthmate. When you begin checkout, we hold your selection briefly while you pay.

2.4 If availability changes after you book. If a technical fault causes a double booking, or a place you booked turns out not to be available, you choose an alternative date, an alternative program of equal value, or a full refund.

2.5 If a price was wrong. If a program was shown at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the booking and refund you in full.

2.6 Keep your details accurate. Give us correct information when you register and when you book, keep it current and keep your login safe.

2.7 Changes you make. You may request a date or slot change through your dashboard. Whether it is possible depends on the Healthmate's availability.

3

What you pay

3.1 The price you see is the price you pay. Program pages show an all-in price, including LIFED's fees and applicable taxes. Everything listed as included is included.

3.2 Your price is locked when your booking is confirmed. Once you have a booking confirmation, that price is fixed. Nobody can ask you for more later for anything already included in your booking.

3.3 Prices differ across dates. The same program may cost more or less on different dates or in different seasons.

3.4 If you reschedule. If you move a confirmed booking to a new date with the Healthmate's agreement, you keep your original price. Materially different programs may carry a clearly disclosed price difference.

3.5 What is not included. Travel to and from the program, visas, travel and medical insurance and optional extras listed separately.

3.6 How payment is taken. Payment is collected at booking through our regulated payment partner. You may pay using the supported methods shown during checkout. LIFED does not see or store your full card details.

3.7 GST. Prices shown include Goods and Services Tax at the rate applicable to that program. Your booking confirmation includes the tax component.

3.8 If money leaves your account but no confirmation arrives. Contact us. We will trace it with our payment partner and the amount will be reversed according to your bank's and applicable RBI turnaround times.

3.9 Currency. If you pay in a currency other than rupees, the applicable conversion rate is shown before confirmation.

3.10 There is no separate LIFED fee on your refund. Where you are entitled to a refund, it is calculated on the full amount you paid, with nothing held back by LIFED as a platform fee.

3.11 Sponsored bookings. If your employer or another organisation is paying, Section 7 explains what they can and cannot see.

4

Cancelling, changing and refunds

4.1 The full rules are in the Cancellation and Refund Policy . If this summary and that Policy ever disagree, the Policy wins.

4.2 Every program shows its cancellation tier before you pay. It is displayed directly on the program page and is never hidden behind a link.

The 24-hour window

If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and the program starts more than 14 days later, you receive a 100% refund, regardless of tier.

4.4 After that, the applicable cancellation tier applies.

Residential programs

Tier 30+ days 15–29 days 7–14 days Under 7 days
Flexible 100% 100% 50% 0%
Standard 100% 50% 25% 0%
Strict 50% 25% 0% 0%

Session-based programs

Tier 7+ days 48 hrs – 7 days 24–48 hrs Under 24 hrs
Flexible 100% 100% 50% 0%
Standard 100% 50% 25% 0%
Strict 100% 0% 0% 0%

4.5 Missing one session in a series. A series is sold as a whole, so missing one session does not earn a partial refund. One session may be rescheduled per booking free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability.

4.6 If the Healthmate cancels, you get everything back. A full refund applies regardless of tier. Where the cancellation is late, LIFED also adds credit of 10% of the booking value, capped at ₹5,000.

4.7 If the Healthmate materially changes the date, time or venue, you may accept the change, move to another date at your original price or take a full refund.

4.8 If the program does not run because too few people booked, you receive a full refund.

4.9 If LIFED cancels, you receive a full refund and the same assistance and credit where the fault was ours.

4.10 Events outside anyone's control, including floods, government restrictions, epidemics and civil unrest, are handled separately. You may choose LIFED credit, rescheduling or the applicable cash refund arrangement described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

4.11 Personal illness, visa refusal or a cancelled flight are not treated as force majeure. We recommend travel and medical insurance for residential bookings.

4.12 Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method. LIFED begins an approved refund within 7 working days and your bank typically requires another 5 to 10 working days.

5

Your health, and the risks you are accepting

5.1 Programs involve real activity. Depending on what you book, that may include movement, stretching, breathwork, walking on natural ground, water activity, heat or cold exposure, bodywork, silence, dietary change and unfamiliar food.

5.2 Some risk cannot be removed. Even when everything is done properly, activities can involve ordinary risks such as soreness, strains, falls, dizziness, allergic reactions and emotional discomfort.

5.3 By booking, you accept the ordinary risks that come with the activity when delivered with reasonable care. You are not accepting carelessness, unsafe premises or misleading descriptions.

5.4 You assess your own fitness to participate and must complete your health declaration honestly, including anything that could materially affect your participation.

5.5 If you are unsure whether an activity suits you, obtain appropriate medical clearance before booking.

5.6 Healthmates rely on the information you give them to keep you safe and adapt activities where appropriate.

5.7 If your health changes between booking and attending, tell the Healthmate and LIFED before you arrive.

5.8 Follow safety instructions and house rules. Stop if something hurts or feels wrong. Consent to hands-on adjustment is yours to give and withdraw at any time.

5.9 Healthmates must maintain first aid provision and an emergency plan. If you cannot consent in an emergency, you agree that appropriate emergency medical assistance may be arranged for you.

6

How we expect you to behave

6.1 Treat Healthmates, their teams and other participants with respect. Follow program guidelines, house rules and safety instructions.

6.2 Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, abusive language, non-consensual filming, property damage and prohibited items are not acceptable.

6.3 A Healthmate may refuse or end participation on reasonable safety or conduct grounds.

6.4 Your belongings remain your responsibility.

6.5 Reviews may only be submitted by people who actually attended. They must be honest and first-hand.

6.6 Do not use LIFED unlawfully, impersonate others, interfere with the platform, upload harmful material or move bookings off-platform to avoid these Terms.

Safety concerns

If a Healthmate or participant behaves badly toward you, or anyone asks for additional payment for something already included in your booking, contact support@lifedhealth.com .

7

Your information

7.1 We collect what we need to help you find, book and attend programs, and no more. We do not sell your personal data.

Restricted Wellbeing Data

LEWIS responses, insight reports, wellbeing trends and program feedback are treated as the most sensitive information we hold. We do not share this information with your employer, another seeker or a Healthmate except in the limited circumstances set out in these Terms.

7.3 A Healthmate receives only the information required to host you safely, including your booking information, dietary and accessibility needs, emergency contact and health declaration.

7.4 Other seekers see only information you choose to publish, such as a review and your first name where applicable.

7.5 Where an employer or organisation sponsors your participation, they may receive appropriate billing and utilisation information, but never your individual wellbeing information.

7.6 Participation in employer-sponsored programs and use of LEWIS remain voluntary.

7.7 You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, request deletion and exercise the other rights available to you.

7.8 Read the full Privacy Policy for details about collection, retention, processors, security and breaches.

8

If something goes wrong, and what we are responsible for

If a program was not what was described

8.1 Raise the issue with the Healthmate on site first where practical, then report it to LIFED within 24 hours or as soon as reasonably possible.

8.2 We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours, investigate both sides and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

8.3 If we do not uphold your complaint, we will explain why in writing. You may dispute that decision within 30 days and a different person will review it.

8.4 You may escalate complaints through our grievance process and remain free to approach an appropriate Consumer Commission or other available forum.

8.5 Please contact us before raising a chargeback where possible, as our complaint process may be faster.

What we are responsible for

8.6 LIFED is responsible for operating the platform with reasonable skill and care, carrying out the verification we describe, curating programs, handling payments, protecting data and operating a fair grievance process.

8.7 LIFED is not responsible for the way a Healthmate delivers a program, its outcome or the conduct of participants, except where law provides otherwise.

8.8 We do not promise any particular wellbeing result.

8.9 Where LIFED is liable, total liability connected with a booking is limited to the higher of the amount paid for that booking and ₹1,00,000, subject always to clause 8.10.

8.10 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, fraud or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Consumer rights remain unaffected.

8.11 We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Accounts and changes

8.12 You may close your account whenever you like, but closing it does not automatically cancel confirmed bookings.

8.13 We may suspend an account where these Terms are breached, fraud or chargeback abuse is reasonably suspected, or the law requires it.

8.14 We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 15 days before they take effect. Confirmed bookings continue under the Terms that applied when they were booked.

Sign-off

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Courts. The courts at Kochi have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away your right to approach the Consumer Commission where you live or work, the National Consumer Helpline or other consumer grievance channels available to you.

Deliberately, there is no arbitration clause in this agreement.
